Duress

Anna, a shy, timid accountant, has spent her adult life playing it safe and caring for others. While coming in to catch up on work over the weekend, she surprises two brothers breaking into the safe. Suddenly, Anna is in a heart-pounding, action-packed fight for her very survival against Derrick, a handsome, charming master manipulator, and his older brother John who has come reluctantly along for the first time. With Derrick holding all the cards, Anna must find her inner resolve, learn to take risks, and be ruthless herself. Can she turn the brothers against each other before one of them cracks the safe and they no longer need her alive?

This riveting crime drama has a complex and fascinating woman at the center of the story. It explores the ways violence is often used as a tool for manipulation – especially against women – and how our experiences both good and bad shape how we respond to life’s greatest challenges.
