A Christmas Carol

Ebeneezer Scrooge puts the miser in the word miserable. He rudely declines his nephew’s invitation to Christmas dinner; he allows his clerk, Bob Cratchit, just enough coal to avoid frostbite; and he scoffs at all forms of charity. It takes late-night visits from three insistent spirits (four, if you count the ghost of his late business partner) to confront him with the error of his humbugs and fill him with year-round yuletide cheer.
