Marion has come back home to Tulsa for her mother’s wedding and is outraged to discover that her mother is going to marry Marion’s first lover, Norman. She becomes her mother’s rival, fighting and scheming to keep him out of her mother’s bed. The situation is complicated by her brother, Tommy, who doesn’t want to see anybody in his mother’s bed.
