Its 1895, and Sherlock Holmes is bored. Bored of London life, looking for excitement and dreading Dr Watson’s marriage to the delightful Mary. A letter ends up on his porch, promising to change all this, as he leaves the London smog for the rural countryside air. Charles McCarthy is dead. Bludgeoned to death callously on a rural walk, but who could have done it? All clues point towards his son, James, who has resented his father’s controlling nature throughout his entire life. But Sherlock knows better. With Watson at his side, he battles wild weather and a gunman at the crime scene. Can the worlds greatest detective save the day again?
