Life is cheap in frontier Kentucky! Based on true events, ‘Blood Runs Deep’ is about the Turner family – a prominent ranching family in Harlan Kentucky during frontier America.
After Cole Turner is murdered, his wife Kate is forced to bring up their two young sons, Jim and Will, on her own. She gets a little help from her dead husband’s brother, Brent. But as the boys get older and Jim’s mischief turns into something much more sinister and threatening, both Kate and Brent believe the boys are acting up because they miss their dad and because… Well, boys will be boys!
Newly-appointed Sheriff Sam Drake tries to keep an eye on the boys but when things get out of hand and all hell breaks loose, there’s no turning away. What’s done is done!
This stage-play is confronting and will keep your audience riveted until the final curtain, there is no happy ending here! Your audience will be left wondering how this tragedy could have been avoided and who was really to blame?
