The Archival Video Fee is a flat-rate fee that legally allows you to record and archive your production for keepsake purposes. You may make one copy for each cast and crew member, but no further distribution is allowed. These video recordings may be played in a private setting only. However, should you wish to upload your video recording to the internet, or play your video to a public audience… You will need to apply for permission to do so. There is a fee involved with this type of permission/licensing.
If selected, the pre-paid Archival Video Fee will form part of your Performance Licence. Please note that your pre-filled Performance Licence application form will be included in your downloads upon checkout.
A performance licence is the only legal way in which to perform, or record the performance of, any plays that are published on the Stage-Write Plays website.
