RICHARD MARSH: Having always been a lover of the funnier side of life Richard Marsh is the author of two comedy plays, The Road To Nowhere (co-written with Ashley Stevens) and The Big Night In. He is also the co-host of the podcasts I Like Movies and Review To A Kill. He has a huge interest in music and has hosted radio shows throughout the years, these have varied from classical songs to rock. He can also be found playing in his own band in and around his hometown of Portsmouth. He is married to Jessica and together they love nothing more than venturing out in their campervan. ASHLEY STEVENS: In a previous life Ashley Stevens tried to conquer the world in a band, where a combination of hard work, dedication and talent left him unsuccessful beyond his wildest dreams. After hanging up his guitar (that isn’t true, it lives on a stand), he turned his attention to stand-up comedy and academic study, currently completing a Practice as Research PhD project investigating how improvisation could be better utilised within stand-up. With his ‘longest serving’ best friend Richard Marsh, Ashley hosts Review To A Kill, the podcast that discusses all things linked to the James Bond franchise, often in exhaustive detail. Away from a microphone Ashley is a college lecturer, works on scripts with Richard and experiences the ups and (mostly) downs of being an Aston Villa fan.
