It is November of 1958 in the two-bedroom apartment of Nathan Dufour. Nathan wants a promotion. His boss has made it clear that he wants a stable married man for the position and that he will meet each of the candidates for a home-cooked meal and then make his decision. Nathan, who is single, decides to create a happy family. He asks his girlfriend, Emma, to be his wife for a day. Insulted that Nathan did not actually ask her to marry him; Emma stomps away declaring their relationship is over. Nathan’s friend, Scooter, recommends his friend Lola, to play the pretend wife. Although Lola is a prostitute, Nathan reluctantly goes along with the plan. Before dinner, Lola calls to say that she may not make the dinner. So, Nathan decides that honesty is the best policy and will confess to his boss. Unbeknownst to Nathan however, Scooter takes on the role as Emma. Then, Lola who is pregnant with twins shows up. Then, the real Emma has a change of heart and she shows up. There are now three Emma’s. What will Nathan do? Will he get the promotion? And what about all the Emma’s? All in the same place at the same time!

AUD 80.00 - Performance Package

AUD 125.00 - Cost Per Performance

It is November of 1958 and Nathan Dufour wants a promotion.  The only problem is that his boss prefers a “stable and married” man for the position.  Nathan, who is single, decides to create his own make-believe happy family.  And so, the trouble begins.  How on earth does Nathan wind up with three different make-believe wives at the same dinner party?  And what does his boss think about it all?  This is an hilarious romp through the “Honesty Is Always Best” policy.
